Welcome to Adventures in Greek!

The purpose of this blog is to share Bible study resources with you so that you can study God’s word with greater depth, clarity, and fidelity. I especially want to encourage you to get into the original languages of Greek and Hebrew! Even if you haven’t been to a Bible college or seminary – and even if you don’t feel called to vocational ministry – the original languages are invaluable for drawing near to hear our Father’s voice through scripture.

Here‘s an article by Cambridge professor and New Testament textual scholar Dirk Jongkind on why you should study New Testament Greek. His answers might surprise you!

Along the way, I would also like to bring you alongside me on my journey into New Testament studies. So in addition to articles and pages dedicated to sharing helpful tips and resources for studying scripture in the original languages, I will also share updates about my seminary study, my faith journey, and my family to encourage you and give you insight into how the Lord is working in my life.

As the next (and hopefully last!) two years of my ThM at Dallas Theological Seminary unfold, I pray that I can pass on the riches of God’s word which I have learned to you, so that you may be “thoroughly equipped for every good work” (2 Timothy 3:17) and “grow up in every way into Christ” (Ephesians 4:15).

χάρις καὶ εἰρήνη (grace and peace),
